Jeff Sessions DOJ Crackdown on Leaks

Attorney General Jeff sessions announced a crackdown on leaks Friday. The DOJ and other agencies will be increasing their resources and efforts to stop the leaking of classified material. He explained that incidents like the leak of transcripts of phone conversations between President Donald Trump and the heads of Mexico and Australia compromise our national security. That the President cannot properly function unless his conversations with other national leaders, or even with members of Congress, etc, unless they are private. The ramifications could lead to tragic results, including the loss of life.

White House Tweets, Leaks, and Trump Fu

One of the big topics of the past week or two on the Fake News Media has been President Donald Trump′s tweets on Twitter, as well as interview comments, about Attorney General Jeff Sessions. How he is ″disappointed″ with his recusal on the Russia probe. The hosts, commentators and pundits have all lined up warning that this is a sign that President Trump wants Sessions to resign, or may even fire him. However, when I look at what President Trump is saying, I see yet another classic example of ′Trump Fu′. While he may seem to be attacking Sessions, what is actually going on is President Trump is forcing the Fake News Media to mention issues like Hillary Clinton′s collusion with Ukraine and the rampant leaks against the White House.

Jeff Sessions at Senate Hearing Calls Comey Innuendo 'Lies'

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions appeared in an open hearing yesterday before the Senate Intelligence Committee. He addressed the leaked innuendo from James Comey′s closed-door hearing with the committee last week. During the open phase of that hearing, Comey alluded to believing A.G. Sessions recusing himself from the Russian probe was ″problematic″. According to the leaked story from the closed hearing, Comey alleged that Sessions had a third, unreported meeting with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in April of 2016 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington. Comey allegedly claimed that he knew of this from classified intercepts of foreign nationals discussing the meeting. Sessions called the allegations a lie and said that he spoke at a conference at the Mayflower where Kislyak was one of 4 ambassadors attending out of some 400 other guests. Not exactly a covert meeting to plot the subversion of our elections.
