America, An Attractive Nuisance

Today, Day 20 of the partial government shutdown, President Donald Trump is meeting with border patrol officers in McAllen, Texas. He′ll get an up-close, first-hand account of the current crisis along our southern border with Mexico. Tuesday night, President Trump addressed the nation, laying out the realities of the crisis, along with his plan for securing the border. Wednesday, he invited Congressional leaders from both political parties to the White House to negotiate a resolution. He even handed out candy before the talks began. But, Democrats refused to negotiate or compromise. When asked point-blank by President Trump, Nancy Pelosi even refuse to discuss funding border security after a quick reopening of government. President Trump walked out of the meeting, realizing it was a waste of time.

Psychic Predictions For 2019

by Andrew Zarowny, 1/1/2019

Happy New Year 2019!!! As with tradition, I like to start of the New Year with some fun and insight, if possible. So, once again we have consulted with our favorite seer, mystic and all-around good-guy, Zarnak The Great, Master of the Tarot. Every January 1, the sage emerges from his meditation chamber, deep in the inner sanctum of his golden pyramid, his robes flowing with magical energy. Zarnak then shuffles his Tarot deck and casts out the cards in the traditional Celtic Cross. He then ′reads′ the cards, or hears them. Zarnak often says that the Tarot is like a jigsaw puzzle, providing pieces of clues from which an enlightened person can unfold the future. Or, merely gain valuable insight to provide guidance. Zarnak claims that sometimes the cards ′talk′ to him, revealing guarded secrets of events from the past, present, and from the future. So, let us see what 2019 has in store for us...

NASA New Horizons New Year Encounter

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/31/2018

While many of us will be deep in our hang overs on New Years Eve night, NASA has a treat for us space buffs on January 1, 2019. The New Horizons space probe will have an encounter with the most distant, named object in our solar system tomorrow. The spacecraft will fly-by Ultima Thule before exiting the solar system. This asteroid or planetoid is some 4 Billion miles away from the Sun and takes over a 1,000 years to orbit it. Also known as 2014 MU69, this worldlet is a billion miles further away from the Sun than Pluto is. The New Horizons spacecraft encountered Pluto 3 years ago in a fly-by. At 12:33 am EDT, New Year Day, New Horizons will pass Ultima Thule by some 2,200 miles.

Apollo 8 50th Anniversary

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/27/2018

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Apollo 8 successfully completely its historic mission to the Moon. On December 21, 1968, Apollo 8 blasted off from Cape Kennedy, Florida, launching the very first time humans would leave the Earth for another celestial body. The crew was Frank Borman, James Lovell, and William Anders. After completing 10 orbits around the Moon, the Apollo 8 command module returned safely to Earth on December 27, 1968. The mission was dangerous and was actually a ′Plan B′ due to several events.

Worst Of 2018, Paul Ryan

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/26/2018

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. I know I did! Even though none of the hundreds of cable TV channels out there showed my favorite Christmas movie, ″Donavan′s Reef″. So, now we are in that period between Christmas and New Year. That means plenty of year-end reviews. I say let us get the worst of 2018 out of the way, first. Who is the worst person of 2018?

Millennial Adulting Courses

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/19/2018

Adulting courses for Millennials are popping up in schools and libraries across America. Many are done online, the perfect venue for those 16 to 25. The adulting course curriculum includes teaching useful skills like how to sew a button on to a shirt, how to cook, how to plan a budget, and even how to tell somebody that you love him or her. Perhaps a leader in this education trend is The Adulting School in Portland, Oregon. But they are not alone as such classes are appearing nationwide.

More Bias At FBI, DOJ

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/14/2018

Despite the removal of 7 top officials at the FBI and the Justice Department, with others demoted, both entities still have considerable political bias. Namely against President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. The FBI missed a deadline to provide the House Oversight Committee with documents pertaining to the FBI raiding the home of a Clinton Foundation whistle-blower. The DOJ prevented federal prosecutor John Huber from testifying at that hearing, too! Meanwhile, prosecutors from the Southern New York office succeeded in getting former Trump attorney Michael Cohen to plead guilty on two non-crime charges related to alleged hush-money payments to a couple of porn actresses. A federal judge in Washington is trying to get the Robert Mueller team to turn over documents about the FBI interview of Michael Flynn in February, 2017.

James Comey 245 Memory Lapses

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/11/2018

How stupid is James Comey? During his testifying on Capitol Hill Friday, he suffered some 245 memory lapses. Perhaps even more than 300! He seems to have forgotten just about everything that happened during 2016 and 2017. Maybe even much of 2015, too! Comey recalls very little about the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Likewise how the Trump-Russia probe got started. Yet, for some strange reason, James Comey will make another appearance before Congress in 2 weeks. Why bother?

Marijuana Legal In Michigan Today

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/6/2018

Glory Hallelujah! Today, December 6, 2018, the recreational use of marijuana by adults is legal in the State of Michigan. If you are 21 years of age or older, you may ′light up′ pretty much anywhere it is legal to smoke tobacco, except for on federal property. I can now die a happy man! Not only is Donald J. Trump the President of the United States of America, but weed is legal in Michigan. Of course, there are a few problems...

Robert Mueller Ethics Complaint

by Andrew Zarowny, 12/4/2018

Best-selling author Dr. Jerome Corsi has filed a legal complaint against Robert Mueller on ethics violations. Corsi claims that Mueller is allegedly trying to force him to lie in the Trump-Russia probe. The lie that Mueller and his witch hunt team of angry Democrats want Corsi to go on the record with pertains to contact with Julian Assange of WikiLeaks. That Corsi, under the direction of Roger Stone, was to make contact with Assange and coordinate the release of John Podesta emails on WikiLeaks with the 2016 Trump campaign. In exchange for telling this lie, Robert Mueller is allegedly prepared to cut Corsi a plea deal on a federal felony charge of lying to Russia probe investigators. Corsi says that he will refuse to cooperate and lie for Mueller, even if it means he will die in a federal prison!

More Cracks In Mueller Witch Hunt

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/28/2018

Both Jerome Corsi and Paul Manafort are causing more cracks in the Russia Probe, also known as the Robert Mueller Witch Hunt. Mueller′s team is getting desperate to find some link between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Russian government. The latest attempt to connect them is through Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. Both Corsi and Manafort are being compelled by the Mueller team to lie about meeting with Assange and coordinating the release of John Podesta emails with the Trump campaign. The problem is, neither men had any contact with Assange.

Migrants Storm US Border

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/26/2018

Hundreds, perhaps thousands from the migrant caravan attempted to storm the U.S. border Sunday. The port of entry crossing between Tijuana, Mexico and San Ysidro, California was the scene of violent chaos. Customs and Border Patrol, CBP, officers had no choice but to close the border crossing. As the migrants grew more violent, throwing rocks and other objects at our CBP officers, pepper spray was used to force the invaders back. Mexican police arrested some three dozen migrants.

Migrant Caravan Chaos In Tijuana

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/19/2018

The mayor of Tijuana, Mexico may be a racist according to Fake News Media personalities like Jim Acosta and Joe Scarborough! The mayor is upset with the sudden invasion of his community by the migrant caravan from Central America. Some 6,200 have invaded Tijuana, so far, with another 3,000 on the way. Friday night, a small riot broke out as legal residents of Tijuana skirmished with the invaders from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Seems that many in the migrant caravan are thieves, robbers, and other types of criminals. Not only are they committing crimes in Tijuana, they are also leaving trash everywhere. On Saturday and Sunday, more Tijuana residents took to the streets marching and protesting against the migrant caravan.

Stacey Abrams, Sore Loser

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/17/2018

How do I spell sore loser? Stacey Abrams! On Friday, Abrams gave a hate filled non-concession, concession speech. She is suspending her campaign, admitting that there is no path to victory. Abrams claims that democracy failed in Georgia. What actually failed was her attempt to steal the election from the true winner, Brian Kemp. The scheme was to not only find extra votes for her, but to take away votes from Kemp, causing him to fall below the 50% threshold and force another election. While Abrams accepts that the election will be certified on Tuesday, making Kemp Georgia′s governor, she still plans on filing a lawsuit in federal court claiming that there was voter suppression by Kemp, who was the state′s Secretary of State. That he had removed some one million people from voter rolls.

Macron v Trump, Patroitism v Nationalism

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/14/2018

French President Emanuel Macron took a swipe at President Donald J. Trump on Sunday during the Armistice Centenary event. Macron played host to the 100th anniversary of the ending of World War One in Paris. Some 70 national leaders attended. During his speech, Macron claimed that nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism, as if they were polar opposites. In reality, there is hardly a dime′s bit of difference. Patriotism is a love for one′s own country and Nationalism is a desire, or hope, that one′s own country is successful.

No Liberal Civility Yet

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/9/2018

Hillary Clinton said that civility would return if the Democrats won back the House of Representatives. They did so Tuesday, yet, Liberals are still not very civil. On the Fake News Media, they are still tagging President Trump with untruths and foul names. We saw an example of their rudeness by CNN′s Jim Acosta once again at a White House press conference the President gave on Wednesday. Acosta even brushed aside an intern whose job it was to hand the microphone to another reporter. President Trump called Acosta out on this rude behavior. But the worst example of Liberal incivility happened to Tucker Carlson of Fox News.

2018 Midterm Election Results, Trump Stops Blue Wave

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/7/2018

The 2018 midterm election results are a divided nation and a divided government. President Donald Trump did stop the so-called ′Blue Wave′ as Democrats failed to get control of both the House and the Senate. Nor did they win back the House by a typical, first-term-midterm. In 1994, Bill Clinton lost 54 House seats and in 2010, Barack Obama lost 63. President Trump only lost 26, which is less than the average 30 historically. Meanwhile, he gained at least 3, if not 4 or 5 seats in the Senate. In the past 80 years, the total number of seats won by a president in his first-term midterm is 8.

Last night AMC TV aired ″The Walking Dead″ episode, ″What Comes After?″ The 5th episode of Season 9 was the big farewell to the series primary hero, Rick Grimes, played by actor Andrew Lincoln. Last week, we watched as Rick was thrown from a horse while leading a horde of walkers (zombies) away from the collection of human communities. Rick landed on a large piece of scrap concrete and was impaled through the gut by a rod of rebarb steel. Things looked pretty bad, indeed!

October 2018 Jobs Report, More Winning

by Andrew Zarowny, 11/03/2018

Somebody better make Barbara Streisand some pancakes! The October 2018 jobs report came out on Friday and had more great news for America and President Donald Trump. About 250,000 new jobs were added, including over 30,000 high-paying jobs in manufacturing. A sector which Barack Obama said would never do well again. The National Unemployment Average remained at 3.7%, despite some 600,000 long-term unemployed returning to the work force. The numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics also showed that wages were up some 3.1%.
