Same Schiff, Different Day

Adam Schiff will be banging his gavel again today in the sham Trump impeachment hearing.  Today's witness is former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Maria Yovanovitch.  She claims that she was fired unfairly by President Trump after his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, "threw hand grenades", besmirching her.  Keep in mind that she was appointed as ambassador by Barack Hussein Obama, and Trump has every right to replace her, for any reason he wants.  Typically, when a new administration takes office, most, if not all ambassadors are replaced.  That she lingered on for as long as she did is more due to the U.S. Senate dragging its feet dealing with other personnel changes.  Yovanovitch publicly supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election and Ukraine's early criticism of Trump may have been requested by her.  As reported by John Solomon of The Hill, hardly a right-wing publication, Ukraine did act against the Trump campaign in 2016.  It was their release of financial data on Trump campaign manager, Paul Manafort, which caused him to resign and led to criminal charges made against him.

Yovanovitch has no first-hand knowledge of anything concerning the July 25th telephone call between Presidents Trump and Zelensky.  She was replaced months earlier and, quite frankly, is highly  biased and disgruntled to offer any objective testimony.  Not to mention the possibility that she may have played a role in the Ukraine government interfering in the 2016 U.S. election.  Its no wonder why career diplomats and other Deep State types were "outraged" by her dismissal.  She was, and maybe is, part of the so-called Resistance, acting as political saboteurs against the Trump administration.

Meanwhile, Shifty Adam Schiff is facing more problems of his own making.  During the hearings on Wednesday, Schiff claimed that he does not know who the so-called whistleblower is.  That he never met with him or her.  This is the second time Schiff has changed his story about knowing the whistleblower's identity.  Schiff may have learned of the identity some 95 days ago.  On top of that, there are cracks developing within both the Democrat Party and even The Media about the wisdom of continuing with these sham hearings,  They are an abuse of Congressional power, waging an impeachment purely for political reasons.  There is no way that the Senate will impeach President Trump based solely on hearsay evidence and personal conjecture.  A trial in the Senate may derail the campaigns of six Democrat Senators running for president in 2020.  A prospect that is only now becoming realized by many politicians and pundits.

In other news, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine stated yesterday that there was no quid pro quo, nor was there any pressure or linkage between Ukraine doing any investigations and receiving military aid.  Other Ukraine officials, including President Zelensky, have made similar statements.  So, as far as they are concerned, they were never blackmailed, pressured, extorted nor even threatened by President Trump.  In other words, there was no crime committed, not even a political sham crime.  If Nancy Pelosi were sane, she would put an end to the impeachment hearings before they cause more damage to the Democrat Party.  New polls show support for impeachment dwindling while President Trump is benefitting.  His campaign raised some $3.1 Million on Wednesday, the first day of the hearings, and added over 100,000 new donors.
